Welcome to Cae Du Designs
Cae Du Designs was established in 1994 in a converted barn above the historic and picturesque town of Harlech in North West Wales, in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park.
The shop stocks hundreds of metres of seconds, clearance and overstocks including linens, cottons, wools and silks. We source unusual designer fabrics including silk embroideries, plaids, ginghams, stripes and weaves.
All fabrics are sourced directly from the mills and importers and this is reflected in our prices which vary from £6.00 per metre to a top price of £20.00 per metre (all inclusive of VAT). Many of the fabrics have a recommended retail price in excess of £70.00 a metre. We are able to offer these attractively low prices because of minimal overhead costs.

During the summer months you can find our shop in the centre of Harlech town in the Blue Lion Square opposite the Plas Restaurant.
